Crucial Conversations: Exploring Perspectives regarding Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) in Irish Primary Schools

The free, in-person conference on Relationship and Sexuality Education (RSE) in Irish primary schools will be held at Maynooth University, Kildare, on Monday, 11th November 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm (registration and refreshments at 9:30 am). The event, designed for educators, parents, researchers, policymakers, and students, promotes dialogue and problem-solving through interactive activities, including a learning café and scenario exploration. International expert Dr. Margarita Gerouki will facilitate the conference.

AsIAm Employment Seminar

The Department of Adult and Community Education will host it's first AsIAm Employment Seminar at Maynooth University's TSI Building this coming Saturday Nov 9. AsIAm is an Autistic-led advocacy organisation that embraces neuro-affirmative approaches to inclusivity, acceptance and participation. AsIAm's vision is a society in which every Autistic person is accepted “as they are” – equal, valued, and respected. Our purpose is to advocate for an inclusive society for Autistic people that is accessible, accepting and affirming.
