Maynooth University Department of Computer Science run CoderDojo sessions during University term time.
This is a free, weekly event for students aged 8-16. For any students 12 or under, a parent or guardian will need to remain in attendance for the session. For those 13 or older, parent can choose to remain or not.
For beginners, we run Scratch sessions every week with material that the kids can follow along with. For more experienced kids, we have a rotating topic for every block of sessions (for example microBit's, Finch Robots, Robocode, Java). You can attend every week, but it's not a problem missing out on any of the sessions.
If you are interested, please keep an eye on this page. Our next batch of sessions will commence after the Halloween break (our current block is full). Apply here
